Cases and patient experiences

Implant treatment shown as it actually progresses — single missing teeth and full-arch reconstruction — alongside how the appointments felt for the people who had them.

Single-tooth implants

Replacing a missing or failing tooth with a natural looking implant.

Front teeth restored after an injury

Upper front teeth fractured in an accident. Treatment involved a single implant, restorations to broken teeth and tooth whitening.

Before treatment: upper front teeth fractured following an injury, with a gap where tooth structure has broken away.
Initial presentation
After treatment, photographed from the same view: the upper front teeth restored to a complete, even row.
Treatment outcome

Front tooth replaced after a failed post crown

The post crown on the upper left central incisor (UL1) had failed, leaving only a broken root. The tooth was replaced with an implant, placed together with a bone graft.

Before treatment, smiling: a gap in the upper front teeth where the post crown has come away, leaving a broken root.
Initial presentation
After treatment, smiling from the same view: the gap filled with an implant crown matching the neighbouring front tooth.
Treatment outcome
The finished implant crown with the lips held back, showing the gum around the new front tooth.

Missing upper front tooth replaced with an implant crown

A missing upper front tooth, replaced with a single implant crown. The implant was placed with a bone graft at the same time.

Before treatment, smiling: a gap where an upper front tooth is missing.
Initial presentation
After treatment, smiling from the same view: the gap filled with an implant crown alongside the natural front teeth.
Treatment outcome

How single-tooth implants work

Full-arch reconstruction

Restoring a complete upper jaw, lower jaw, or both, using multiple implants to support a fixed bridge.

Full upper arch reconstruction

Heavily broken-down and missing upper teeth, replaced with a complete fixed upper arch.

Before treatment: upper teeth broken down and missing, with gaps, an old crown and visible decay.
Initial presentation
After treatment, photographed from the same view: a complete, even row of upper teeth.
Treatment outcome
The completed upper arch with the lips gently held back, showing the full row of upper teeth against the natural lower teeth.

Upper and lower full-arch bridges, fitted the same day

Both jaws were treated in a single appointment. Implants were placed in the upper and lower jaws and fixed full-arch bridges were fitted the same day (immediate loading). The upper bridge replaces the teeth only (FP1); the lower bridge also replaces lost gum and bone (FP3).

Before treatment, smiling: only a few worn upper front teeth are visible, with gaps either side.
Initial presentation
After treatment, smiling from the same view: full upper and lower rows of teeth.
Treatment outcome
Before treatment, close view: a small number of worn, discoloured and failing upper and lower teeth.
Initial presentation
Two weeks after surgery, mouth open: the fixed upper and lower bridges in place, with stitches still visible in the upper gum.
Two weeks after surgery

Whether teeth can be fitted on the day of surgery depends on the bone and general health of each patient, and is confirmed at assessment.

Full upper arch bridge with lower back-tooth implant bridges

A failing upper bridge and missing lower back teeth. The upper jaw was restored with a fixed full-arch implant bridge replacing the teeth only (FP1), and the missing lower back teeth were replaced with implant-supported bridges.

Before treatment, smiling: a worn, discoloured upper bridge with gaps at the back.
Initial presentation
After treatment, smiling from the same view: a full row of new upper teeth.
Treatment outcome
Before treatment, close view: the old upper bridge, broken-down back teeth and missing lower back teeth.
Initial presentation
After treatment, close view: the new fixed upper full-arch bridge and the lower back-tooth implant bridges in place.

How full-arch treatment works

Patient experiences

How treatment felt, in patients' own words.

After breaking my front teeth in an accident, I became really self-conscious about my smile. Sherif completely transformed it with three veneers and an implant. I couldn’t be happier with the result. He’s given me my confidence and my smile back.

Darren H. See Darren’s case

I decided to have full upper bridge implants. Sherif Kamel along with his dental nurse Henley carried out the procedure. Everything from the planning down to the day of the procedure along with the aftercare was second to none. I would recommend them to anyone.

Chris M. See Chris’s case

I spent 90 minutes with Sherif and Henley having two implant posts put into my upper jaw. I came away totally impressed by their skill and compassionate professionalism. Barely any discomfort and background music of my choice – Dire Straits!

Colin S.

I had dental implants and received exemplary treatment from Sherif and Henley. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Louise B.

Sherif and his nurse did an amazing job carrying out a bone graft and an implant on my front tooth. This was a very tricky procedure and I would have no hesitation in recommending this great team. Thank you.

Colin B.

Can’t thank Sherif enough for taking my wisdom teeth out. He was really reassuring and put me at ease. Thank you Sherif.
